Short Course Check In on 5/8/24 and 5/11/24:

• Check in will open on the second floor of McHugh, starting at 8:00am for Short Course 2, 3, 5, and 6. Entrance located off of Fairfield Way, just behind the Student Union. Campus Map: Type ‘McHugh’ into the Interactive Campus Map to see the location

Internet Access

Driving Directions to Campus:

All the conference participants should pay close attention to all speed limit signs on and around campus. The usual speed limit around UCONN is about 25 or 30 mph. SAFE DRIVING!

From the West – Interstate 84 East to Exit 68. From exit, take a right onto Route 195, and follow for 7 miles to campus.

Alternate directions from the West – Interstate 84 East to Interstate 384 East. At end of Interstate 384 East, take left fork to Route 44 East. Follow Route 44 East to intersection with Route 195. Take a right onto Route 195 and follow for a mile to campus.

From the East – Interstate 84 West to Exit 68. From exit, take a left onto Route 195, and follow for 7 miles to campus.

From the Southeast – Interstate 95 to 395 North. Take Exit 81 West to Route 32 North. Follow Route 32 North to Willimantic. In town, turn right and go over bridge. Continue straight through the light and follow 195 North for 8 miles to campus.

Parking:

We recommend parking in South Parking Garage, 2366 Jim Calhoun Way, Storrs, CT. UConn uses Paybyphone https://www.paybyphone.com/ for parking payments. There are also payment kiosks on the ground floor of the garage. South Parking Garage’s parking code is 5177.

Parking on all UConn Campuses is by permit or payment for hourly parking ONLY. Surface lots marked with “P” are for employees and those without permits will be ticketed. For more info: https://park.uconn.edu/visitors/storrs/ If you are staying at the Graduate Hotel on campus, we recommend keeping your car parked in the hotel guest parking lot. A portion of Hillside Road is currently restricted to pedestrians only. To access the South Parking Garage from the north side of campus, use Alumni Drive. From the south side of campus, use Bolton Road.
